Fleet maintenance · Mobile HGV repairs · Mobile mechanic
Lewis The Tec keeps working vehicles working. Regular checks, servicing and repairs for van and company-car fleets, mobile HGV and trailer repairs at your yard, and a mobile mechanic for everything else. Every visit priced up front and written up with photos. Congleton based, covering Crewe, Stoke, Macclesfield, Sandbach and the M6 corridor.

Photos from our customers' yards are on the way. These are stand-ins.
What we do
Find the actual fault, price it before the spanners come out, photograph the work. The same standard whether it's a pool van, a company Golf or a tractor unit.
Vans, company cars, trucks and trailers looked after on a regular round at your premises, so small things get caught before they turn into a breakdown, a failed inspection or a van off the road.
One flat rate per fleet, set by how many vehicles you run and how often you want us there. No per-vehicle extras, no surprises on the invoice.
Van, tools and a proper jack come to you. The truck stays in the yard instead of losing a day to a dealer run. Mechanical and electrical work; we'll tell you straight when a job needs the dealer's diagnostic kit.
Cars and vans sorted at your home or workplace. Proper diagnostics with live data and a scope, not a code reader and a parts cannon. Fixed-price servicing, quoted before we arrive.
How the fleet round works
Every van, car, unit and trailer gets its check: lights, brakes, tyres, fluids, body, the lot. Photos of anything that isn't right.
A signed PDF per vehicle, same day, filed in your portal. Green, amber or red at a glance.
Anything red or amber comes with a price. You say yes, we fix it on the spot or on the next visit.
Your drivers get a link and a PIN. Daily walkaround on their phone, and "report a problem" lands with us before the vehicle's back.
For HGVs, our checks sit alongside your statutory safety inspections, they don't replace them. Keep your PMIs with whoever does them now; we keep the fleet tidy between them and flag anything they'll want to see.
What you see
No app to install, nothing to pay for. A link and a PIN for the office, a separate one for your drivers.
From the founder
I started Lewis The Tec on my own, ten years into the trade, because I was sick of watching people get fleeced by garages that couldn't explain the job. The fleet side came from one customer asking me to keep an eye on his trucks. It's grown from there, and as it grows I'm bringing in technicians who work the way I do: find the fault, price it first, photograph the work. You'll still get me on the phone.

Questions
Not the statutory six-weekly ones. Keep those with your dealer or the inspection centre you use now. What we do is the regular check in between, to the same DVSA item list, so the PMI turns up less and the roadside stops don't happen. Anything we find that the PMI needs to know about is in the sheet.
Congleton out to Crewe, Stoke, Macclesfield, Sandbach, Nantwich and along the M6. Further for a fleet round if the numbers make sense.
Yes, and they're most of it. Company cars, pool cars and van fleets get regular checks, servicing to the maker's schedule, MOT prep and repairs, all at your premises while your people carry on working. Same portal and records as the trucks.
Yes. Walking-floor, curtainsiders, flats, tippers. Trailers get their own check sheet with landing legs, lines, couplings and the EBS lead on it.
A flat rate for the fleet, set by how many vehicles you run, how often you want us there and where they are. Repairs are priced separately and you agree each one first. Tell us the fleet size and we'll give you a number the same day.
Yes. They get a link and a shared PIN, do their daily walkaround on their phone and can report a problem with photos. It comes to us and sits in your portal.
Yes. Ring or WhatsApp with the reg and what it's doing. The mobile mechanic side works on its own for cars and vans, and truck repairs are available as one-offs; the fleet round is just the cheapest way to run a fleet.
Not yet with dealer-level kit. For truck mechanical and electrical faults we'll find and fix what we can on site, and if it needs the manufacturer's diagnostic system we'll say so rather than guess. Cars and vans get full live-data diagnostics.
How many vans, cars, units or trailers, where they live, how often you want them seen. We'll come and have a look and give you a price the same day.
